Eligibility & Experience
- Maximum age limit should not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of application.
- Deputy Adviser: Master's Degree in Botany, Pharmacognosy, Agriculture, Agronomy or Forestry with 10 years of experience in medicinal plants research, policy, programme implementation or related activities.
- Assistant Adviser: Master's Degree in Botany or Pharmacognosy with 5 years of experience in medicinal plant development and propagation.
- Finance & Administrative Officer: Experience in administration, establishment and accounts matters with eligibility as prescribed in the notification.
- Research Officer: Master's Degree in Botany or Pharmacy (Pharmacognosy) with 2 years of experience in identification of medicinal plants and drugs.
- Assistant Research Officer: Master's Degree in Botany, Forestry, Agriculture, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Horticulture, Medicinal Plants or related subjects with computer knowledge.
- Accountant: Experience in cash, accounts and budget work along with departmental eligibility requirements.
Salary & Benefits
- Deputy Adviser – ₹78,800 to ₹2,09,200
- Assistant Adviser – ₹67,700 to ₹2,08,700
- Finance & Administrative Officer – ₹67,700 to ₹2,08,700
- Research Officer – ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500
- Assistant Research Officer – ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400
- Accountant – ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400
- Other allowances as per Government of India rules.
Job Responsibilities
- Implement medicinal plant development programmes.
- Support research and policy initiatives.
- Manage administrative and financial activities.
- Maintain records, reports and official documentation.
- Assist in project monitoring and coordination.
- Perform duties assigned by NMPB and Ministry of AYUSH.
