Eligibility Criteria
For Senior Manager (Electrical):
- Officials of Junior Scale / Group-B and above.
- 7th CPC Level-8 to Level-10 officers.
- SSE officials working in 7th CPC Level-7.
- JE / SSE officials working in 7th CPC Level-6.
Educational Qualification
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- Additional qualifications will receive extra weightage during selection.
Experience Requirements
- Candidates should possess experience in electrical-related works in Railways.
- Relevant experience in Railway electrical systems, maintenance and project execution will be preferred.
- Domain knowledge and managerial competency will be assessed during selection.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age for Immediate Absorption: 55 Years
- Maximum Age for Deputation: 57 Years
- Age will be calculated as on the last date of application submission.
Posting & Tenure
- Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India or abroad depending on project requirements.
- Normal deputation tenure will be 03 years.
- Tenure may be extended based on performance and organizational requirements.
Pay & Benefits
- Parent pay plus deputation allowance as per Railway Board guidelines.
- Other admissible benefits applicable on deputation.
- Company / Leased accommodation may be provided as per entitlement.

- Vigilance / DAR Status – 10 Marks
- Performance in Service (APAR) – 25 Marks
- Interview Performance – 50 Marks
- Minimum Qualifying Marks – 60%

- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Parent Organization.

- Identity Proof and Address Proof.
- Any other supporting document relevant to eligibility and experience.

- A Registration Number will be generated after successful submission.
