The Department of Community Medicine, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Nagpur has invited applications for the post of Project Assistant under a DHR (Department of Health Research) sponsored project titled "Disease Modelling and its Applications". This is a purely temporary/contract position for 1 year. Monthly consolidated emoluments are Rs.23,600/-. Applications must be submitted by email on or before 3 July 2026.

- Maintaining finances of the project budget
- Accounting and financial record keeping
- Procurement and store management
- Preparing utilization certificates
- Preparing project reports and related documentation
Salary & Benefits
- Monthly Consolidated Emoluments: Rs.23,600/-
- No other allowances or facilities other than consolidated salary
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview

Selection Process
- Initial screening of applications based on eligibility
- A written test may be conducted if too many applications are received
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview — only those shortlisted will be contacted
- Panel of recommended candidates will be shortlisted after written test (if needed) followed by interview
- The shortlist panel will remain valid for one year from date of result publication and renewed accordingly
- Decision of the Principal Investigator will be final

- This post is purely on contract basis for an external sponsored project — no claim for regular appointment in AIIMS Nagpur shall be entertained
- Valid email ID and mobile number are compulsory
- Upper age limit may be relaxed as per Govt. of India rules
- Qualification, experience and other terms may be relaxed/altered at the discretion of the Project Investigator
- If the appointee's performance is not satisfactory, appointment can be terminated at any time without notice
- The appointee may be relieved with one-month prior notice; failure to serve notice period may result in recovery of one month's salary
- Submission of wrong or false information will disqualify the candidature at any stage of the selection process
- Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview
