Budget Press, Department of Economic Affairs (DEA), Ministry of Finance, Government of India, invites applications from eligible officers of the Central Government for filling up vacant posts of Technical Officer (Pre-Process) and Data Entry Operator Grade ‘B’ on deputation/absorption basis. Eligible candidates are required to submit their applications through the prescribed format within 60 days from the date of publication in Employment News.

Technical Officer (Pre-Process) – Eligibility
Officers of the Central Government:
- Holding analogous post on regular basis; OR
- With 3 years’ regular service in Level corresponding to Pay Scale ₹5500-9000 (pre-revised) or equivalent; OR
- With 6 years’ regular service in Pay Scale ₹5000-8000 (pre-revised) or equivalent; OR
- With 8 years’ regular service in Pay Scale ₹4500-7000 (pre-revised) or equivalent.
- Degree in Science from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Diploma in Computer or Printing Technology from a recognized institution or equivalent.
- Three years’ experience in computer operations for printing purposes.

Data Entry Operator Grade ‘B’ – Eligibility
Officers of the Central Government:
- Holding analogous posts on regular basis; OR
- With 5 years’ regular service in Pay Band-1 ₹5200-20200 with Grade Pay ₹2400; OR
- With 8 years’ regular service in Pay Band-1 ₹5200-20200 with Grade Pay ₹1900.
- Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Should possess a speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour for Data Entry Work.
- Preference will be given to candidates having knowledge of computer keyboard operation in both Hindi and English.
