Centre for Air Borne Systems (CABS), a premier laboratory of the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, invites applications from eligible doctors for engagement as Civilian Medical Officer on a contractual basis. The appointment will initially be for one year or until a regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier.

Salary
- Fixed Salary: ₹60,000/- per month
- NPA and other allowances are not admissible.
Educational Qualification
Essential Qualification:
- MBBS Degree.
- Must be registered with KMC/IMC.
- Post Graduate Diploma or Degree in Aviation Medicine.
Work Experience
- Minimum 05 years of work experience as a Registered Medical Practitioner (RMP) in an independent capacity in a clinic or hospital.
- Preference will be given to candidates residing in Bengaluru.
- Candidates should be well versed in the local Kannada language.
Age Limit
- Candidates should be below 65 years of age.
Tenure of Appointment
- The appointment is purely on contract basis.
- Duration of appointment is one year from the date of joining.
- The contract may end earlier if a regular incumbent is posted to CABS.
Terms & Conditions
- The post is purely contractual in nature.
- NPA and other allowances will not be provided.
- Appointment is subject to approval by DRDO Headquarters, New Delhi.
- Selected candidates will not be entitled to seniority or any benefits in future Government service.
- The appointment does not confer any claim for regularization.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM
- Saturday/Sunday: Only in emergencies or when called upon.
