The Natural Resource Management (NRM) Division of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi, has invited applications from eligible and interested candidates for engagement of Young Professional-I (YP-I). The position is purely temporary, contractual, non-regular and co-terminus with the requirement of the Division. Eligible candidates must submit their applications through email on or before 19 June 2026.

• Young Professional-I (YP-I) – 01 Post

Total Vacancies: 01 Post

Division: Natural Resource Management (NRM) Division

Work Location: Krishi Anusandhan Bhawan-II, Pusa, New Delhi – 110012

Duration:

• Purely on contractual basis.
• Initially for one year.
• Extendable up to two additional years (one year at a time) based on requirement and satisfactory performance.

Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification:

• Graduate with at least 60% marks in:
  • Computer Applications
  • Information Technology (IT)
  • Computer Science
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Operating Systems
  • Software Engineering
  • Computer Graphics

Salary & Benefits

• ₹30,000/- per month (Fixed).
• No HRA will be paid.
• Applicable taxes will be deducted at source.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 Years.
• Maximum Age: 45 Years.
• Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India rules.
• Candidates claiming age relaxation must submit valid supporting certificates.

Nature of Appointment

• The engagement is purely temporary and contractual.
• The position is non-regular in nature.
• The engagement is co-terminus with the requirement of the NRM Division.
• The selected candidate shall have no claim for regular appointment in ICAR.

• One Recent Passport Size Photograph.
• Self-attested Copies of Certificates and Mark Sheets (from Class X onwards).
• Original Documents for Verification.
• Experience Certificate (if applicable).
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Current Employer (if employed).

• The application must be accompanied by the Declaration Form (Annexure-II).
• Attach scanned copies of all relevant educational, experience and supporting documents.

• Candidates having any near or distant relative working in ICAR/IARI must submit the prescribed declaration.
• Candidates having no such relation must also submit the declaration form.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be informed through email about the date and venue of the interview.

Terms & Conditions

• The engagement of Young Professional-I (YP-I) will be governed by the revised guidelines and procedures issued by ICAR from time to time.
• The position is purely temporary, contractual, non-regular and co-terminus with the requirement of NRM Division, ICAR.
• The engagement shall not confer any right for regular appointment in ICAR.
• The selected candidate shall maintain absolute integrity, discipline and standards of conduct.
• Failure to comply with official instructions may result in termination without notice.
• If any information furnished by the candidate is found false, incorrect or misleading at any stage, the candidature will be summarily rejected.
• The selected candidate shall be governed by the Official Secrets Act and will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before joining.
• Candidates having any near or distant relative working in ICAR/IARI must declare the same through Annexure-II.
• Candidates having no such relation must also submit the declaration.
• The declaration form must be submitted before the date of interview.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
• The selected candidate shall have no claim for regularization or absorption in ICAR at any stage.
• Non-maintenance of discipline or failure to perform assigned duties may result in termination as per ICAR rules.
• In case of any dispute, the jurisdiction shall be restricted to the Courts of New Delhi only.
• The decision of ICAR in all matters relating to this recruitment shall be final and binding.
