The Seed Production Unit, ICAR–Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, has invited eligible candidates to attend a Walk-in Interview for engagement of 03 Young Professional-I (YP-I) posts on contractual basis. The appointments are purely temporary and initially for a period of 12 months, extendable up to 2 years based on requirement and performance. Interested candidates may attend the interview on 22 June 2026.

Educational Qualification
Young Professional-I (02 Posts)
- Graduation in Agriculture Science.
- Minimum 02 years experience in Seed Production.
- Seed marketing experience.
- Knowledge of agricultural field crops.
- Proficiency in Computer Applications (MS Office).
- Graduation in any stream.
- MBA or ITI (Electric).
- Minimum 02 years experience in Seed Processing.
- Knowledge of grading, packaging and storage.
- Knowledge of agricultural field crops.
- Proficiency in Computer Applications (MS Office).
Salary & Benefits
- ₹30,000/- per month (Consolidated).
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 Years.
- Maximum Age: 45 Years.
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/PH/OBC candidates as per Government rules.
Nature of Appointment
- The posts are purely temporary and contractual.
- Initial appointment will be for 12 months.
- The tenure may be extended up to 2 years.
- Selected candidates shall not claim any regular appointment at ICAR-IARI.
