- Pay Scale: Academic Level-10 (Entry Pay ₹57,700/- to ₹1,82,400/-) per month with DA, HRA, Annual Increment etc. as per UGC 7th CPC
- Mode of Appointment: On Contract/Deputation basis – Initially for three years, which may be extended on need basis and subject to satisfactory performance for another two years.
Educational Qualifications
(i) Academic Qualification:
- A Master's degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in Political Science / Economics / Law from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- Relaxation in marks – 5% for SC/ST/OBC/NCL/PwD/EWS categories.
Candidates must fulfill any one of the following:
- Qualified in NET (UGC/CSIR)
- Qualified in SET/SLET
- OR hold a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations (eligible for exemption from NET)
- No mandatory teaching/research experience required (as per UGC norms)
- Relevant experience, if any, will be considered desirable
- Preference will be given to persons belonging to SC/ST, Backward Classes or those belonging to other Socially and Economically Weaker Sections of the Society.

- Screening: Limited number of candidates screened on the basis of qualifications and experience will be called for interview.

- Applications must reach within one month from the date of publication of the post in Newspapers (by 31 July 2026)
- Incomplete application forms or those without the signature of the candidate shall be summarily rejected.
- Persons in employment should apply through the proper channel. However, they may send an advance copy of the application with testimonials to IIPA so it reaches before the last date.
- NOC from the current employer must be produced at the time of interview, if shortlisted.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- The period of time spent by the candidates to acquire M.Phil and/or Ph.D Degree shall not be considered as research experience.

Important Instructions for Candidates
- Read the notification carefully before applying.

- The appointed employee shall have to register himself at the Biometric Attendance System and mark his attendance regularly.
- Either party may terminate the employment relationship by giving the other, two (02) months' notice in writing or payment of two (02) months' salary in lieu of such notice.
- The duration of appointment may be curtailed subject to needs and directions of Dr. Ambedkar Foundation and performance of the candidate assessed by IIPA.
- IIPA reserves the right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication made to the candidate(s) at any stage in case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection may be detected even after issue of appointment letter.
- IIPA may verify the antecedents of documents submitted by a candidate at any time of appointment or during the tenure of the service.
- Employees appointed vide this advertisement cannot claim regularization or permanent absorption against any vacant position in IIPA at any point of time in future.
