Educational Qualifications

(i) Academic Qualification:
  • A Master's degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in Political Science / Economics / Law from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
  • Relaxation in marks – 5% for SC/ST/OBC/NCL/PwD/EWS categories.
(ii) Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must fulfill any one of the following:
  • Qualified in NET (UGC/CSIR)
  • Qualified in SET/SLET
  • OR hold a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations (eligible for exemption from NET)
(iii) Experience:
  • No mandatory teaching/research experience required (as per UGC norms)
  • Relevant experience, if any, will be considered desirable
(iv) Preference:
  • Preference will be given to persons belonging to SC/ST, Backward Classes or those belonging to other Socially and Economically Weaker Sections of the Society.

Important Notes:
  • Incomplete application forms or those without the signature of the candidate shall be summarily rejected.

Important Instructions for Candidates
