Cochin Port Authority Deputy Chief Vigilance Officer Recruitment 2026 Notification Out | Apply Offline for 01 Post @ cochinport.gov.in

Cochin Port Authority has released a notification for the recruitment of one post of Deputy Chief Vigilance Officer on deputation basis. The post carries an IDA scale of pay of ₹60,000 - 1,80,000/- (pre-revised ₹24,900 - 50,500/-). Eligible officers from any Major Port Authority, Central Government, State Government, Public Sector Undertakings, or Autonomous Bodies are invited to apply. The previous notification for this position dated 26.06.2024 has been cancelled, and all previous applicants must submit a fresh application to be considered for this opening.

Eligible officers should be holding posts in the prescribed pay scales with the required regular service experience. The period of deputation will normally be for 3 years and in any case, not exceed 5 years. Interested candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria and apply through proper channel before the last date.

Eligibility Criteria (Any One)

Candidates must meet one of the following:
  • From Major Ports: Holding posts in the pay scale of ₹50,000 - 1,60,000 (Pre-Rev. ₹20,600 - 46,500 and ₹10,750 - 16,750) with 3 years regular service in the grade; OR
  • From Central/State Govt./PSUs/Autonomous Bodies: With similar grade in CDA pattern of Scale of Pay of ₹47,600 - 1,51,100 (Level-9), pre-revised PB-2 + Grade Pay ₹4,800/- with 3 years of experience in such grade of equivalent level.

Deputation Terms
  • Period of deputation shall normally be for 3 years.
  • In any case, deputation shall not exceed 5 years.
  • Pay: Officer may elect to draw either the pay in the scale of pay of the post in the Major Port Trust or basic pay in the parent organization plus deputation allowance.
  • Deputation Allowance: 5% of basic pay (subject to max ₹4,500/-) for same station; 10% of basic pay (subject to max ₹9,000/-) for change of station.
  • DA, HRA, Leave, TA, and other benefits as per rules.
