Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), a premier national-level institute for MBA, PhD, and mid-career professional education, interdisciplinary research, and consulting in rural management and development, has released a notification for the recruitment of an Officer (Procurement) on a contractual basis. This recruitment is under "Tribhuvan" Sahkari University, an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India.
Eligible candidates possessing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Management/Commerce or equivalent with relevant procurement experience are invited to apply online. Candidates with proficiency in GFR-2017, e-tendering systems, and GeM procurement processes will be preferred. The selected candidate will be appointed on a 3-year contractual basis with a consolidated remuneration of ₹74,179/- per month. Job Responsibilities
- Process procurement of goods, services, equipment, consumables, and works as per applicable rules
- Prepare tender documents, RFPs, bid evaluations, comparative statements, and purchase orders
- Manage procurement through GeM, e-procurement, and tendering systems
- Coordinate with user departments for procurement planning
- Monitor vendor performance and contract compliance
- Maintain inventory and procurement records
- Ensure compliance with GFR, CVC guidelines, Institute regulations, and audit requirements
- Assist in annual procurement planning and budgeting
- Handle import procurement, if applicable

Educational Qualifications
- Essential: Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Management / Commerce or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute.
Experience Required
- Minimum: 5 years of relevant procurement and purchase experience
- Required Knowledge: Proficiency in GFR-2017, e-tendering systems, and process requirements through GeM
- Organization: Any University / Institute of National Importance or Centrally Funded Institutions
Age Limit
- Preferred Maximum Age: 40 years (as on the last date of application)
- Age Relaxation: Additional 5 years for women candidates
Compensation & Tenure
- Consolidated Pay: ₹ 74,179/- per month
- Tenure: 3 years (Contractual, extendable based on performance or as per Institute's requirements)
- Other Entitlements: As per rules and regulations of the Institute
