Eligibility Criteria
- Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment from in-service personnel in lower categories of Kerala Water Authority.
- In-service personnel working in Kerala Water Authority in any of the lower categories included under GO(P) No. 1/2023/WRD dated 27 January 2023 rules or under Kerala Water Authority (Administrative, Ministerial and Last Grade) Service Rules, 2011 for a period of not less than three years.
- In the absence of qualified candidates, the remaining vacancies will be filled up from the Ranked List prepared for Direct Recruitment to the above post.
- Reservation provided under Rules 14 to 17 of Part II, KS & SSR is not applicable.
Age Limit
- Age Range: 18 to 50 years
- Born Between: 02 January 1976 and 01 January 2008 (both dates included)
- Note: No further relaxation is admissible. Differently Abled candidates are not eligible for age relaxation for this post.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Pass in SSLC or its equivalent.
- National Trade Certificate awarded by the National Council for Vocational Training in the trade of Fitter after the completion of 2-year Course or its equivalent.
- National Apprentice Ship Certificate holders will be given preference over National Training Certificate holders in the matter of selection of candidates subject to the condition that the preference will be within the meaning of GO(MS) No. 50/70/PD dated 12 February 1970 as amended by GO(MS) No. 246/70/PD dated 21 July 1970. [Vide GO(MS) No. 112/81/LBR dated 22 December 1981]
- Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
- In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by Executive Orders or Standing Orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post in the Special Rules or found acceptable by the Commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government Orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.
Service Certificate Requirements
Applicants should obtain a Service Certificate in the prescribed format from the Head of Office/Department and should produce it when required by the Commission.
Service Certificate Details Required:
- Name of the Employee
- Name of Post now held by the Applicant with scale of pay
- Name of the Department in which now working
- Name of service to which applicant belongs
- Date of Commencement of Service and date of declaration of probation
- Whether the applicant is an approved probationer or full member of service
- Whether SC/ST/OBC. If so, Religion and Community as per service records
- Service Particulars (Details of Service with period and length of service)
Cancellation of Advice for Appointment
- The Kerala Public Service Commission shall have the power to cancel the advice for appointment of any candidate to the above post, if it is subsequently found that such advice was made under some mistake.
- On such cancellation, the appointing authority shall terminate the service of the candidate.
- The cancellation of advice for appointment by the Commission and subsequent termination of service by the appointing authority shall be made within the period of probation or 240 days from the date of joining duty, whichever is earlier.
Probation
- The probation period is applicable as per the provisions of the Special Rules of the Kerala Water Authority.
Ranked List Validity
- The Ranked List published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years.
- The list will cease to be in force if a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year is published.
- Candidates will be advised against the vacancies shown above and for all the vacancies reported during the period of pendency of the Ranked List.
