Eligibility Criteria
- Method of Appointment: By Transfer Recruitment
- Eligible Candidates: Employees of Municipal Common Service and Urban Affairs Department
- Must have completed 3 (three) or more years of service as on or before 27 October 2022.
- Must be serving in posts carrying the scale of pay of Upper Division Clerk or any post carrying higher scale of pay.
- The transfer recruitment is specially enabled by Rule 12(2) of Special Rule GO(P) No. 74/2022/LSGD dated 27 October 2022.
Age Limit
- Age limit is not applicable for by transfer appointment from among the qualified employees of Municipal Common Service and Urban Affairs Department.
Qualifications
Category No. 039/2026 - Municipal Common Service:
- Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Must have passed Kerala Municipal Test.
- Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Must have passed Account Test (Lower).
Service Certificate Requirements
Applicants should produce a Service Certificate in the prescribed form from the Head of Office. The certificate must be uploaded in their profile and the original shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.

- Name of post now held with scale of pay & post held as on 27.10.2022
- Department now working & Department as on 27.10.2022
- Subordinate Service now & as on 27.10.2022
- Date of commencement of Service and Probation
- Probationer/Approved Probationer/Full Member status

Ranked List Validity
- The Ranked List prepared by the Commission shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year.
- The list shall continue to be in force till the expiry of three years.
- Candidates will be advised against the vacancies shown above and also against all vacancies reported to the Commission during the pendency of the Ranked List.
Probation Period
- Candidates appointed to the post shall be on probation for a period of two years on continuous service.

Important Instructions for Candidates
