UKSSSC Exam Pattern 2026
The written examination will consist of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions. Candidates applying for Stenographer Grade-I / Personal Assistant posts must also qualify in the Skill Test (Typing/Stenography).

Written Examination Details
- Mode of Examination: Offline (OMR Based) / Objective Type
- Total Written Marks: 140
- Each Question carries 1 Mark.
- Negative Marking: 0.25 Marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
- Multiple answers to the same question will be treated as incorrect.
- Only one option should be marked for each question.
- OMR sheet must be filled carefully using the prescribed instructions.
- Candidates qualifying the written examination will be called for Skill Test (where applicable).
Skill Test Pattern
Junior Assistant
- Hindi Typing Speed : Minimum 25 Words Per Minute.
- Knowledge of Computer Operation is mandatory.
- Candidates having English typing speed of 30 WPM may get preference as per notification.
- Hindi Shorthand : 80 Words Per Minute.
- Hindi Typing : 25 Words Per Minute.
- Candidates possessing English Shorthand (80 WPM) and English Typing (35 WPM) may be given preference as per official notification.
- Basic Computer Knowledge is compulsory.

Junior Assistant
