IBPS SO Recruitment 2026 Notification Out | Apply Online for 1007 Specialist Officer (CRP SPL-XVI) Vacancies

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the official notification for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP SPL-XVI) to recruit Specialist Officers (Scale-I) in Participating Public Sector Banks for vacancies of the financial year 2027–28. A total of 1,007 vacancies have been announced for various Specialist Officer posts including IT Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari, Law Officer, HR/Personnel Officer and Marketing Officer.

Eligible candidates can submit their online applications from 01 July 2026 to 21 July 2026. The selection process consists of the Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, Interview and Provisional Allotment.

Educational Qualification

• IT Officer (Scale-I): Engineering Degree / B.Tech / MCA / Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics or equivalent discipline.
• Agricultural Field Officer (Scale-I): Four-Year Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Dairy Science, Fisheries, Forestry, Agricultural Engineering, Food Technology or equivalent.
• Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale-I): Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at Degree level OR Post Graduate Degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects.
• Law Officer (Scale-I): Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) and enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council.
• HR / Personnel Officer (Scale-I): Graduate with Full-Time PG Degree/Diploma in Personnel Management, Human Resource, HRD, Social Work or Labour Law.
• Marketing Officer (Scale-I): Graduate with Full-Time MBA (Marketing) / MMS / PGDM / PGDBM / PGPM / PGDBA with Marketing specialization.

Age Limit (As on 01 July 2026)

• Minimum Age : 20 Years
• Maximum Age : 30 Years
• Candidates should have been born between 02 July 1996 and 01 July 2006 (both dates inclusive).
• Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and other eligible categories as per Government of India rules.

• General / OBC / EWS : ₹850/- (Inclusive of GST)
• The fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

Selected candidates may be posted in any of the participating Public Sector Banks anywhere in India depending upon the bank's requirements and the provisional allotment made by IBPS.
