Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be serving officers from Central/State Government, Union Territories, Central/State Universities, Public Sector Undertakings, Statutory or Autonomous Organizations.
- The deputation period will be initially for 5 years.
- Maximum age limit is 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
- The total period of deputation (including any prior deputation in Central Government) shall not exceed the limits prescribed under the latest DoPT guidelines.
Salary / Pay Scale
As per the post level under the 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix:
- Level-12 (Senior PPS)
- Level-8 (Section Officer, Research Officer, Private Secretary, etc.)
- Level-7 (Legal Assistant, Research Assistant, etc.)
- Level-6 (Junior Hindi Translator, Personal Assistant)

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities will vary post-wise and shall include:
- Assisting in legal, administrative, and research functions of NCW
- Drafting replies, handling correspondence, and maintaining official records
- Supporting the Commission in reviewing legislation and preparing reports
- Translation work (for Hindi Translator post), legal research (for Law Officer/Legal Assistant posts)
- PR and media coordination (for Assistant PRO post)
