The Indian Navy has extended the online application window for the 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme (Permanent Commission) for the January 2027 Course. A total of 60 vacancies are available in the Technical Branches. Eligible unmarried male and female candidates who have qualified JEE (Main) 2026 can submit their online applications through the official website on or before 29 June 2026.

About the Organization

The 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme allows eligible candidates to join the prestigious Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala for a four-year B.Tech programme. During training, cadets receive fully sponsored education, accommodation, books, uniforms and other facilities. On successful completion of the course, candidates are awarded a B.Tech Degree by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and are commissioned as Permanent Commission Officers in the Technical Branches of the Indian Navy.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Must be an unmarried male or female candidate fulfilling the nationality conditions prescribed by the Government of India.
  • Passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
  • Minimum 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).
  • Minimum 50% marks in English in either Class X or Class XII.
  • Candidates must have appeared for JEE (Main) 2026 (B.E./B.Tech).
  • Shortlisting for SSB Interview will be based on the JEE (Main) 2026 Common Rank List (CRL) published by NTA.

Salary & Benefits
  • Selected candidates will undergo a fully sponsored four-year B.Tech training at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala.

  • The Indian Navy will bear the complete cost of training, including tuition fees, books and study materials.
  • Free accommodation, uniforms, messing and other entitled facilities will be provided during training.
