Nature of Work
- Supervise and monitor civil and electrical engineering works.
- Coordinate construction, renovation, maintenance and upgrading of sports infrastructure.
- Prepare and scrutinize estimates, drawings and technical specifications.
- Inspect works for quality control and standards compliance.
- Verify measurements and bills.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants and executing agencies.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of works.
Eligibility Criteria
Applications are invited from officers working under:
- Central Government
- State Government
- Union Territory Administrations
- Hold an analogous post as Junior Engineer or equivalent in the parent cadre/department.
- Have at least 05 years of regular service in Level-5 Engineering Cadre (₹25,500 – ₹81,100).
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 64 Years
- Age should not exceed 64 years as on the opening date of application receipt.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess any one of the following:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Degree in Electrical Engineering

Desired Qualification
- Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Desired Experience
- Minimum 01 year experience in maintenance and construction of civil infrastructure works, preferably sports infrastructure.
- Minimum 01 year experience in electrical works, preferably related to sports infrastructure.
Remuneration & Benefits
- Monthly remuneration will be based on Last Pay Drawn Minus Pension.
- Transport Allowance: ₹10,800 per month.
- No annual increment or DA increase during the contract period.
- No TA/DA for joining or completion of assignment.
- Leave entitlement: 1.5 days per month on pro-rata basis.
Tenure of Engagement
- Initial engagement shall be for 01 year.
- Or till attaining the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
- Extension may be considered based on performance and organizational requirement.
