The Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), Government of India, invites applications from eligible Central Government officials for appointment to the post of Staff Car Driver (Grade II) on deputation basis. In addition to basic pay, selected candidates will be entitled to allowances as admissible under Government of India rules. Applications forwarded through proper channel must reach the Commission on or before 21 July 2026.

Pay Scale
- Level-4 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix
- ₹25,500 – ₹81,100
- Other allowances as admissible under Government of India Rules
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible Officers:
Officials of the Central Government:
- Holding the post of Staff Car Driver (Grade II) or analogous post in Level-4 of the Pay Matrix on a regular basis.
- Holding the post of Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) in Level-2 of the Pay Matrix with nine years of regular service in the grade.
- Must have passed the Trade Test specified by the Government.
Age Limit
- Maximum age for appointment on deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on the last date of receipt of applications.

- Notification Date: 21 May 2026
- Last Date for Submission of Application: 21 July 2026
- Applications must reach the Commission within 45 days from the date of publication of the vacancy circular in Employment News.

- Verification of Eligibility Conditions.
- Assessment of Service Records.
- Verification of APARs/ACRs.
- Vigilance Clearance Verification.
- Selection on Deputation Basis.
Terms & Conditions
- The appointment is on deputation basis.
- The period of deputation shall ordinarily not exceed 03 years.
- The total deputation period including previous deputation in another ex-cadre post shall ordinarily not exceed 03 years.
- Selected candidates will receive pay and allowances as per Government of India rules.
- Applications must be forwarded through proper channel.
- The selected officer should be relieved immediately by the parent department.
- Incomplete applications will be rejected.
- The vacancy is subject to change and may increase or decrease as per requirement.

- Attested copies of APARs/ACRs for the last 05 years.
- Vigilance Clearance Certificate.
- Certificate stating that no disciplinary case is pending or contemplated.
- Employer/Forwarding Authority Certificate.
- Recent passport-size photograph.
- Supporting service and qualification documents.
