The Division of Vegetable Science, ICAR–Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, has invited applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of 02 Senior Research Fellow (SRF) posts under the ICAR-funded projects CRP-MB (Tomato) and CRP-HT (Tomato). The appointments are purely temporary, contractual and project-based. Eligible candidates must submit their applications through email on or before 20 June 2026. Educational Qualification
- Master’s Degree in Genetics / Plant Breeding / Plant Breeding & Genetics / Biotechnology / Life Sciences or related subjects from a recognized University with a 4-year/5-year Bachelor's Degree.
- OR
- Candidates having a Postgraduate Degree in Basic Sciences with a 3-year Bachelor's Degree and 2-year Master's Degree should possess NET qualification and 02 years of research experience as per ICAR/DST guidelines.
Salary & Benefits
- ₹37,000/- + 30% HRA per month.
- Salary as per ICAR Memorandum F. No. Agril. Edn.06/27/2014-HRD(e-91506) dated 15.10.2024.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 35 Years.
- Age Relaxation: 05 Years for SC/ST & Women Candidates.
- Age Relaxation: 03 Years for OBC Candidates.
Nature of Appointment
- The posts are purely temporary and contractual.
- Appointments are initially valid up to 30 September 2026.
- The posts are project-based and co-terminus with the project.
- Selected candidates shall not claim any regular appointment at ICAR-IARI.
