Eligibility Criteria
- Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment
Age Limit
- Age Range: 18 to 40 years
- Born Between: 02 January 1986 and 01 January 2008 (both dates included)
- OBC and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation as per Government of Kerala rules.
- For Officers of Technical Education Department, age relaxation will be allowed to the extent of their service in the Department, subject to a maximum period of 10 years over and above the relaxation in age, if any, allowed under general rules.
- The maximum age shall not exceed 50 years as on 01 January 2026.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess the following qualification:
- Diploma in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology awarded by a University/Government after undergoing regular course of study for not less than three years or its equivalent.
Equivalent/Higher Qualification:
- Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
- In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders, or standing orders of the Government as equivalent to the qualification specified for the post, in the Special Rules or qualifications found acceptable by the Commission since acceptance of equivalent qualification is provided for in the Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.
- The Degrees/Diplomas awarded by UGC approved Universities or Institutions established through an act passed by Parliament/State Legislative Assembly in accordance with the conditions laid down in G.O(MS) No. 526/PD dated 17.07.1965 are acceptable for appointment in Government Services.
Reservation for Differently Abled Candidates
- 4% of the total vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates with disabilities as specified vide GO(P) No. 5/2023/SJD dated 01 October 2023.
- Present Order for Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 Section 34.
Ranked List Validity
- The Ranked List published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year.
- The list shall continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year, or till the expiry of three years, whichever is earlier.
- Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies that may be reported to the Commission during the period of currency of the ranked list.

Important Instructions for Candidates
- Candidates who receive a profile message at any stage directing them to upload documents to prove their qualifications should do so within the stipulated time; otherwise, they will not be considered for the next stage.
- In case of difference in Caste/Community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC book, the candidate shall produce a Gazette Notification in this regard, along with Non-Creamy Layer Certificate / Community Certificate at the time of certificate verification.
