Educational Qualification
- Must have passed Matriculation (Class X) with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized Board.
- Must have completed a three-year Diploma from an AICTE-recognized Polytechnic Institute with at least 50% aggregate marks.
- Engineering Diploma Streams: Marine Engineering & Systems, Mechanical, Production, Automobile, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Repair & Maintenance, Power Plant Engineering, Industrial/Production, Maintenance, Machine, Manufacturing, Manufacturing Technology, Mechatronics, Metallurgy, Instrumentation, Electronics Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
- Electrical Diploma Streams: Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation Technology, Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
Age Limit
- Agniveer (Apprentice) 01/2027 Batch: Born between 01 December 2004 and 31 May 2009 (both dates inclusive).
- Agniveer (Apprentice) 02/2027 Batch: Born between 01 May 2005 and 31 October 2009 (both dates inclusive).
Salary & Benefits
- 1st Year: ₹30,000 per month
- 2nd Year: ₹33,000 per month
- 3rd Year: ₹36,500 per month
- 4th Year: ₹40,000 per month

Job Responsibilities
- Successfully complete naval and technical training under the Agnipath Scheme.
- Perform technical duties related to Engineering or Electrical trades.
- Maintain discipline, physical fitness and operational readiness.
- Serve onboard ships and at naval establishments as assigned.
- Carry out maintenance, repair and operational support duties.
- Follow Indian Navy rules, safety procedures and service regulations throughout the engagement period.
