Eligibility Criteria
Applications are invited from officers working under:
- Central Government
- State Government
- Union Territory Administrations

- Sports Management
- Holding an analogous post in the parent cadre/department.
- At least 02 years of regular service in Pay Level-13 (₹1,23,100 – ₹2,15,900).
- At least 06 years of regular service in Pay Level-12 (₹78,800 – ₹2,09,200).
Duties & Responsibilities
The selected Executive Director (Finance) will be responsible for:
- Heading the Finance & Accounts Division of SAI.
- Acting as the principal financial advisor to the organization.
- Preparation, allocation, monitoring and control of annual budgets.
- Maintenance of accounts and financial records.
- Preparation and submission of statutory financial statements.
- Scrutiny of proposals involving financial implications.
- Ensuring compliance with Government financial rules and regulations.
- Supervision of internal audit and coordination of external audits.
- Monitoring utilization of funds and financial efficiency.
- Treasury management, fund flow and financial planning.
- Providing financial inputs for policy formulation and project implementation.
- Coordination with the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports and other stakeholders.
- Performing additional duties assigned by the Director General, SAI.
Tenure of Appointment
- Initial deputation period shall be 03 years.
- Terms and conditions will be governed by DoPT deputation rules as amended from time to time.
