About NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL)
NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) was incorporated on 07 April 2022 as a subsidiary of NTPC Limited to achieve NTPC’s target of 60 GW renewable energy capacity by 2032. NGEL operates in solar, wind, hybrid energy, green hydrogen, energy storage systems and other renewable energy sectors. As of March 2026, NGEL Group has approximately 9.2 GW operational capacity and around 14 GW under construction.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and operational direction to NGEL.
- Formulate long-term and short-term corporate strategies.
- Drive renewable energy growth and expansion projects.
- Monitor financial and operational performance.
- Strengthen governance, risk management and sustainability initiatives.
- Report organizational performance to NTPC leadership.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 45 Years
- Internal Candidates: Minimum 2 years residual service.
- Other Candidates: Minimum 3 years residual service.
- Age of Superannuation: 60 Years
Candidates should possess any one of the following:
- Engineering Graduate
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Cost Accountant (CMA)
- Post Graduate Degree
- Graduate with MBA / PGDIM from a reputed institute
- Minimum 5 years cumulative experience during the last 10 years.
- Experience in Finance, Business Development, Production, Operations, Marketing or Project Management.
- Candidates with Power Sector experience will have an added advantage.
- HR/IR professionals with at least 5 years HR experience and 3 years relevant business experience may also apply.
