The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024 Notification, offering a golden opportunity for 10th pass candidates to join India’s premier Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). This recruitment is for various forces including BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, Assam Rifles, SSF, and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). A total of 53,690 vacancies have been announced across these forces.
The online application process was open from 5th September to 14th October 2024, with the last date to pay the exam fee being 15th October 2024. Candidates were also allowed to make corrections from 5th to 7th November 2024.
The SSC GD Constable Exam 2025 will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode between 4th and 25th February 2025. Applicants must be 18 to 23 years of age and have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) from a recognized board. Eligible candidates will go through a written exam, followed by physical tests and medical verification.
