Established in 1984, the Sports Authority of India (SAI) is the apex national sports body responsible for the development of sports in India. Operating under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, SAI plays a pivotal role in nurturing talent, providing training facilities, and implementing sports promotion schemes across the country.

  • Position: Young Professional (Contractual)
  • No. of Vacancies: 35 (All-India)

🎯 Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications:

✅ Postgraduate Degree in any discipline OR
✅ BE/B.Tech/MBBS/LLB/CA/ICWA OR
✅ 2-Year PG Diploma in Management
*(With 1+ year of relevant experience)*

OR
✅ Graduate + 6-month Diploma in Sports Management *(With 2+ years’ experience)*

Age Limit:

  • Max 32 years (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Govt. norms).

Desirable:

  • Experience in sports administration, training, or event management.
  • Knowledge of Khelo India, TOPS, or other Govt. sports schemes.

💰 Salary & Benefits

  • ₹50,000–70,000/month (Consolidated, no DA/HRA)
  • Annual Increment: Up to 7% based on performance
  • Leave: 2.5 days/month (No carry-forward)
  • Travel Allowance: For official tours (Economy flights/AC-II Tier)

📝 Job Responsibilities

✔ Implement SAI sports initiatives (Khelo India, TOPS, etc.)
✔ Coordinate athlete training programs & monitor performance
✔ Liaise with NSFs, State Govts., and sports academies
✔ Draft reports, manage budgets, and ensure compliance
