🎓 Eligibility Criteria

📚 What You Need to Study

• Minimum 50% marks in your qualification (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
• Technical Posts (Codes 101–107):
  • ITI (Fitter) for Code 102.
  • 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation, etc.) for Codes 103–107.
  • 3-year B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry) for Code 101.
• Other Posts (Codes 108–111):
  • 3-year B.A./B.Sc./B.Com for Codes 108–109.
  • 12th pass + Skill Certificate (Data Entry/Operator role, less than 1-year course) for Codes 110–111.
    Important: Must be a full-time course from a recognized board/university. No higher degrees (like BE/B.Tech) or prior apprenticeship allowed.

🧬 Age Limit

• 18–24 years as of May 31, 2025.
• Relaxation: SC/ST: +5 years, OBC-NCL: +3 years, PwBD: up to +10 years.

✅ Other Rules

• Must register on NAPS (Codes 101–103, 108–111) or NATS (Codes 104–107).
• PwBD can apply for Codes 102, 105–111 (disabilities like low vision, hard of hearing, etc.).
• No prior experience (over 1 year) for Technician roles.

Stipend & Benefits

• Stipend: As per Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and IOCL guidelines.
• PPE: Safety shoes and helmet for Codes 101–107 (returnable).
• Leave: 32 days general leave, 12 days casual leave (pro-rata), holidays as per refinery.
• Insurance: Accident coverage provided.
• No HRA/Accommodation: Not provided.
• No Employment Guarantee: Completion does not ensure employment.

Selection Process

• No Written Test: Selection based on percentage of marks in qualifying exam (all semesters/years).
• Tie-Breaker: Seniority by age, then Matriculation marks.
• Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must bring:
  • 10th certificate (age proof).
  • Class XII/ITI/Graduation/Diploma marksheets and certificates.
  • CGPA conversion certificate (if applicable).
  • SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/EWS/PwBD certificates.
  • Skill Certificate for Code 111 (if applicable).
  • NAPS/NATS registration printout.
  • Photo ID (Aadhar/PAN/Voter ID/Driving License/Passport).
• Medical Fitness: Pre-engagement medical exam required.

• Jurisdiction: Local court of the applied refinery unit.
