Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 15 July 2025):

21 to 35 years
Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/ICFRE employees, 3 years for OBC

Educational Qualifications:

First-Class Master’s Degree in relevant subjects such as Botany, Forestry, Entomology, Ecology, Chemistry, etc.
For Hydrology: B.E./B.Tech. or M.Sc. in Hydrology or equivalent
Desirable: Ph.D. in relevant subject

Salary & Pay Level

Pay Scale: Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500
Pay Matrix Level: Level 10 (7th CPC)
Other allowances as applicable under Central Govt. rules

Job Nature & Location

Job Type: Permanent (Likely to continue)
Locations: Positions are spread across ICFRE institutes in Dehradun, Bengaluru, Jorhat, Jabalpur, Coimbatore, Jodhpur, Shimla, Hyderabad, Ranchi, Prayagraj, Chhindwara, Agartala, Aizwal, Vishakapatnam
