The Government of India, through the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), has invited applications for the post of Deputy Secretary / Director on deputation basis in the 8th Central Pay Commission (CPC) under the Department of Expenditure. A total of four vacancies are available for officers currently serving in All India Services or Organized Group ‘A’ Services, who are eligible under the Central Staffing Scheme. Applicants should currently be at the Deputy Secretary or Director level and must have at least 24 months of residual deputation tenure. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in handling pay matters of the Government of India and those with strong data analysis skills.
Interested officers must submit their applications, including cadre and vigilance clearance, APARs for the last five years, and a detailed bio-data, through proper channel. Applications should be forwarded to dir.mm@nic.in by May 21, 2025. The tenure of appointment will be co-terminus with the duration of the 8th CPC, after which the officer may be considered for other central staffing positions. Officers already on non-CSS deputation may also apply with approval from their Minister-in-Charge. Only applications routed through the respective ministries/departments will be considered.
