🎓 Eligibility Criteria
📚 Educational Qualification
- Super Specialists: MBBS + PG Degree/DM/MCh or equivalent in Cardiology/Oncology.
- Entry Level: 3 years post-PG experience (Degree) or 5 years (Diploma).
- Senior Level: 5 years post-PG experience (Degree) or 7 years (Diploma).
- Specialists: MBBS + PG Degree/Diploma in concerned specialty (e.g., General Medicine, Radiology, or Critical Care/Anaesthesia for Casualty).
- Entry Level: 3 years post-PG experience (Degree) or 5 years (Diploma).
- Senior Level: 5 years post-PG experience (Degree) or 7 years (Diploma).
- Senior Residents: PG Degree/Diploma in concerned specialty. If unavailable, MBBS with 2 years experience in the specialty at Govt./reputed hospitals.
- Preference for PG in Critical Care for Casualty.
- Candidates with 3 years as Senior Resident under Central Residency Scheme are ineligible.
- Mandatory: Valid TCMC/MCI registration.
🧬 Age Limit
- Super Specialists/Specialists: Not exceeding 69 years as of June 2, 2025 (relaxation for reserved categories).
- Senior Residents: Not exceeding 45 years as of June 2, 2025 (relaxation for reserved categories).
✅ Other Requirements
- PWD Eligibility: Suitable for OL (One Leg) or OA (One Arm) in specific departments (see Annexure-I in notification).
- No Private Practice: Prohibited for Full-Time Specialists/Super Specialists.
- Professional Indemnity Policy: Required within 7 days of engagement (₹10–30 Lakh coverage, based on specialty).
- Availability: Full-Time roles require 24/7 on-call availability; Part-Time roles require 16 hours/week (4 days x 4 hours).
💰 Salary & Benefits
- Super Specialists:
- Full Time: ₹2,00,000 (Entry Level) / ₹2,40,000 (Senior Level) per month.
- Part Time: ₹1,00,000 (Entry Level) / ₹1,50,000 (Senior Level) + ₹20,000 per emergency visit + ₹1,200–₹1,500 per additional hour beyond 16 hours/week.
- Specialists: Consolidated remuneration (specific amounts not provided in the document; refer to notification).
- Senior Residents:
- ₹1,50,622 (PG Degree) / ₹1,49,272 (PG Diploma) / ₹1,48,372 (MBBS with 2 years experience) per month.
- Leave: Full-Time Specialists/Super Specialists get 4 days/month (encashable up to 30 days/year). Part-Time roles have no leave benefits.
- No TA/DA: For interviews or joining.

- Walk-in Interview: June 2, 2025, 9:00 AM at ESIC Hospital, Udyogamandal, Ernakulam.
- Application: Bring the prescribed form (Annexure-II), all original documents, one set of self-attested photocopies, and one passport-size photo.
