Employees’ State Insurance Corporation ESIC Guwahati has released a new notification for the recruitment of Teaching Faculty (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor) and Senior Residents on a contractual basis at ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Beltola, Guwahati-22. A total of 66 vacancies are available across clinical and non-clinical departments. Interested and eligible candidates can attend the walk-in interview scheduled on 24th and 25th June 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on interview date):
- Teaching Faculty: Up to 69 years
- Senior Resident: Up to 45 years
Educational Qualification:
- Teaching Faculty: MD/MS/DNB in the relevant subject with required post-PG teaching/research experience and NMC course certifications (Medical Education Technology and Biomedical Research).
- Senior Resident: MBBS with PG Degree/Diploma in the relevant specialty.
- Non-Medical Faculty (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry): MSc with PhD in the relevant subject.
Salary Structure
- Professor: Rs. 2,11,878/- per month
- Associate Professor: Rs. 1,40,894/- per month
- Assistant Professor: Rs. 1,21,408/- per month
- Senior Resident: Rs. 67,700/- + applicable allowances (DA, HRA, NPA, TA)
Note: NPA is not applicable to non-medical faculty.
Terms of Contract
- Teaching Faculty: 3 years (extendable up to 5 years or till age 70)
- Senior Resident: 3 years (renewable yearly)
- No private practice allowed
- Security deposit: Rs. 30,000 (forfeited if leaving within 9 months)
- One-month notice for resignation
- No travel allowance or accommodation provided

- MSc/PhD Certificate (for non-medical candidates)
- NMC Course Certificates (BCME & BCBR, if applicable)
