Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Qualification: Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbial Biotechnology, Industrial Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical (Bio)Technology, Biochemical Engineering, or equivalent from a recognized university/institute.
- Desirable Experience: At least 6 months of industrial experience in recombinant DNA technology (site-directed/saturation mutagenesis), mutant enzyme screening, bioinformatics, protein purification, and biocatalysis.
- Age Limit: 35 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/PWD/women, 3 years for OBC).
Job Role
The candidate will work on bioinformatics, biocatalysis, enzyme engineering, and applied microbiology for enzyme-catalyzed synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) to support affordable healthcare.
Salary
- ₹31,000/- + HRA for candidates with CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET, GATE, or equivalent national-level exams.
- ₹25,000/- + HRA for others.
