MSEB Holding Company Ltd. (MSEBHCL) is inviting applications for the post of Director (Operations) at its subsidiary, Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd. (MSEDCL). This is a Board-level position, reporting to the Chairman & Managing Director. The post requires strong leadership and strategic experience in operations, especially within the power sector.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate Engineer in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 20 years of experience.
• Must have served at least 5 years as Chief Engineer, including 1 year at one level below Board in a State Electricity Board or Public Sector Undertaking.
• Preference will be given to candidates with an MBA or equivalent degree from a recognized institute.
• Candidates from the private sector must meet turnover, listing, and board-level experience as per eligibility norms.

Age Limit:

• Not more than 60 years as of 28 May 2025.
• Candidates who have already completed two terms as Functional/Whole-Time Director in MSEDCL are not eligible.

Deputation Option

Officers from Central/State Government or PSUs can apply on deputation basis by forwarding their application through the proper channel using Format A & B available in the official notification.

Pay & Benefits

• Compensation equivalent to similar positions in comparable PSUs

Tenure

• Initial appointment for 3 years (on contract or deputation)
• Performance reviewed annually
• Extension subject to performance and organizational needs
